We’re The Gilded Brush — a mobile paint party business that brings creativity, connection, and fun straight to you. From birthdays and girls’ nights to fundraisers and team events, we make it easy for everyone to relax, create, and leave with something they’re proud of.
Not at all! Our events are fully guided step-by-step, making them perfect for beginners and experienced painters alike.
We bring everything needed for a stress-free experience — including paint, brushes, easels, aprons, tablecloths, instruction, entertainment, and clean-up. Tables can even be provided upon request.

Courtney Watson is owner and creative heart behind The Gilded Brush. With a love of painting and a passion for bringing people together, Courtney created The Gilded Brush to make creativity approachable, fun, and stress-free for everyone.

She believed art is not about perfection, it is about connection and creating meaningful moments with the people around you. Known for her warm personality and attention to detail, Courtney designs each paint party to feel welcoming, relaxed, and memorable.

Outside of The Gilded Brush, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband of 35 years, her beautiful daughter, and her two wonderful grandchildren who lovingly call her Yaya. She also enjoys being near the water and embracing a laid-back lifestyle that inspires the heart of The Gilded Brush.

Skylar Hinson, Co-Founder

Skylar Hinson co-founded The Gilded Brush by blending her background in business with a lifelong love of art. Painting has always been a source of calm and creativity for her. She brings that into each event as the lead paint instructor, helping guide guests step by step. She believes anyone can paint with a little patience and guidance.

Skylar hopes guests leave feeling proud of what they created but most of all, she wants everyone to enjoy the moment and have fun with those around them.
